Banned Books Week — events every day this week!

We’re so excited for our first Banned Books Week! We have a full slate of activities for you. We hope to see you at least once for one of these events:

• TONIGHT Wednesday 10/8 at 7pm — Open Mic Kickoff Night — Come read a passage from a banned / challenged book or share a personal reflection

• Thursday 10/9 at 7pm — Make Your Own Zine / Blackout Poetry workshop — free materials provided

• Friday 10/10 at 7pm — Community Conversation on Censorship

• Saturday 10/11

  • 9am — We’re opening EARLY for Mountain Glory Festival 2025! We’ll have a massage therapist offering chair massages all day long; original Bigfoot artwork from local artist Zonie Carter available for purchase; PLUS

  • 7pm — Trivia Night: Banned Books Edition — $5 to play

• Sunday 10/12

  • 2pm — Banned Books Storytime — age-appropriate for kids
    

  • 7pm — Community Wrap-up
